What’s on in Cassiobury Park this March

With the sun shining, daffodils blooming and the mild temperatures it feels like spring is just around the corner.

We are privileged to be able to work in such a beautiful park and if you would like to get outside and explore Cassiobury Park there are some fantastic events going on in and around the park throughout March.

Join Hertforshire Health Walks for a walk around Cassiobury Park on Sunday 10th March, meeting at the car park at 2pm. For more information please visit Hertfordshire health walks website

If you are green fingered and interested in volunteering in your local community then join the Friends of Cassiobury Park on the 12th and 16th March, they will be coppicing along with other woodland management and litter picking. Meeting at the hub at 10am, for more information please visit their website

Park run is a free weekly 5K event in the park, starting at 9am on Saturday morning. Park run has a fantastic community spirit and perfect if you need that extra motivation. For more information please visit the Park Run Facebook

Cassiobury Park is home to lots of beautiful wildlife and plants and so if you have a passion for photography or are looking to start a new hobby the photo-walk on the 13th March is a great activity. Take a guided walk through Cassiobury Park nature reserve led by Vicky D’Souza (Cassiobury Park Hub) & Andrew Lalchan (local photographer) and explore early spring in the park. £5 charge, meeting at the Hub 11am. Join Cassiobury Parks bird expert, Mark Sutton, on the 24th March for a stroll around the nature reserve to see what birds can be found. This walk is free but booking is required.
